Installed on the Lockhart town square — a hub of daily foot traffic and visiting tourists — the single bench features a discreet plaque with simple instructions inviting anyone to sit, start a conversation, and share a story. What began as one ordinary seat became an unexpected catalyst for human connection. A low-tech solution for high-speed disconnection.
