OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND
A glowing camping tent became a roaming reminder of what society chooses not to see. Installed in public spaces across Austin—from downtown sidewalks to the Capitol lawn—the piece linked homelessness and environmental neglect as shared symptoms of collective blindness. AT THE END OF THE night, the tent was left behind with a note offering it as shelter, turning symbolism into action and strangers into witnesses. A bright light showing us that visibility is the first step toward change.
